Declan Hannon: 'We definitely do not have 53 in the backroom team, that’s for sure'
LAUGHS OFF ERROR: Declan Hannon of Limerick is calling on GAA clubs across the country to take part in the ‘eir for all’ Poc Tapa Challenge to be in with a chance to win up to €5,000 for their club and the chance to play on the hallowed turf of Croke Park on All Ireland Semi-Final Day. Limerick captain Declan Hannon has laughed off the error he made in his Munster SHC winning speech that there are 53 people in the senior hurlers’ management team.
The Adare man mentioned the number as he thanked John Kiely and his group having lifted the Mick Mackey Cup following the county’s sixth consecutive senior provincial title.
