Tipperary GAA must do a better job in showing their underage players the “steps of the stairs” to becoming a senior inter-county footballer.

That’s the view of former Tipp U20 manager and senior selector Tommy Toomey, who believes the county must improve the footballing and conditioning education it provides to U14, U15, and U16 development squad players.
