Offaly and Cork face off in an All-Ireland Hurling Championship preliminary quarter-final on Saturday evening. Cork qualified for the knockout stages of the championship by finishing third in the Munster Championship. For Offaly, the game is one of their rewards for beating Laois last weekend to win the Joe McDonagh Cup. That victory also means that they will play in the Leinster Championship next year, replacing relegated Carlow.
The match takes place at Glenisk O'Connor Park in Tullamore with a 5:15pm throw-in on Saturday, June 15th. It is part of a double-header along with Cork vs Tyrone in their All-Ireland SFC group stage game.
The game will be streamed live on GAAGO. Coverage begins on the streaming platform at 5pm.

Cork have made two changes for the game. Ciaran Joyce and Conor Lehane come into the starting XV with Ethan Twomey and Seamus Harnedy dropping out.
Patrick Collins starts in goals with Niall O’Leary, Eoin Downey and Sean O’Donoghue in half-backs. Tim O’Mahony, Robert Downey and Mark Coleman man the half back line.
Joyce joins Darragh Fitzgibbon in midfield with Declan Dallton, Shane Barrett joining Lehane in the half forward lines.
The inside line will see Patrick Horgan, Alan Connolly and Brian Hayes.

The game will be the first championship meeting between the two sides in 12 years. Cork won won All-Ireland qualifiers against Offaly in 2012 (1-26 to 2-16), 2011 (2-17 to 2-16), 2009 (3-19 to 1-12) and 2007 (1-27 to 0-11).
Offaly's last championship victory over Cork was in 2000 when they won an All-Ireland semi-final by 0-19 to 0-15.
The winner will face Leinster runners-up Dublin in an All-Ireland quarter-final on June 22nd.
Laois, losing Joe McDonagh Cup finalists, play Wexford, who finished third in Leinster, in the other preliminary quarter-final. The winners of that game will play Munster runners-up Clare.
In his Tuesday column, John Fogarty writes that Offaly's return to the Leinster championships could be tarnished by the clash with Cork.
"Even allowing for that outlier result Laois had against Dublin in 2019, the average margin of victory by Liam MacCarthy Cup teams in these preliminary quarter-finals is almost 22 points," he says.
