Niall Moran has no doubt that the side Limerick would privately rate as the best they’ve met since their ascension to hurling’s throne is Clare and he has a theory as to why: they’re so hard to shake off because there’s literally no getting away from them.

Everywhere he looks they’re there, just as everywhere a Clare person looks they’ll invariably see someone from Limerick and be reminded of the current hurling hierarchy.
