It’s all to play for in Division 1 of the Cork SFL with just three points separating Nemo Rangers on 11 points in first spot and Newcestown in sixth position on eight with two games to play for most teams.

Nemo ensured that they stay on top of the pile after they defeated Castlehaven by 0-9 to 0-6 in Trabeg on Sunday morning. The Haven had the better of this encounter in the county final last year but Nemo, with Michaeál Aodh Martin in goals, led from start to finish here. They led by 0-4 to 0-2 at the interval, and the Haven never got any closer than that. Alan O’Donovan, Paul Kerrigan and Ronan Dalton all kicked a brace of points for Nemo while for the west Cork men, Mark Collins and Conor Nolan did the same.
