On another stirring programme of Allianz Sciath na Scol hurling and camogie finals at Pairc Ui Rinn on Wednesday, Ballinadee overcame a gallant Conna side to win the DH8 hurling title by 4-9 to 1-3. Danny Toal with 1-4, and Jack O’Donoghue with 1-3, carried the scoring load for Ballinadee.

In a brilliant DH5 final, Ballinspittle beat Crossmahon by 3-6 to 3-3. Player of the match Darragh Moloney notched 1-4 for Ballinspilttle.
