It’s probably Michael Dempsey’s fault that we all assumed strength and conditioning coaches had to remain the same. For 15 years, he worked with Brian Cody during which time Kilkenny won eight All-Irelands. From 2020, Michael Comerford has held the role, first under Cody and then Derek Lyng.
