With a constant craving for the next bright young thing, a modest wave of Kerry football supporters will submit to the curiosity and turn their cars towards Portlaoise on Sunday for the All-Ireland U20 FC final.

With a lot of grá for Tomas Ó Sé, a 16-year run without an All-Ireland in the grade and the team’s growing blue-collar reputation, the pull is strong, even allowing for the lure of live coverage on TG4. On the road, they will eat the time assessing the form.
