There was no need for any reminding. No need to reference it during any end-of-training huddle. No need to pull down a projector screen and press play on old footage.

The Cork footballers are on the road to Ennis this weekend. It has been 13-and-a-half months since their last visit. It was not a successful visit. They arrived empty-handed for a Munster quarter-final and left empty-handed.
