Cork: John Cleary won’t be overly worried this weekend. Cork will only miss out on the elite 16 in the unlikely event both Down and Offaly win their respective provincial semi-finals against Armagh and Dublin. If that scenario was to materialise, Down and Offaly would then take the two league qualifying places. 

Cork look set to be fourth seeds in the Sam Maguire Cup for the second year running. Chances of missing out: Slim.
