IT’S TRENDING towards the thick end of twenty thousand folk in the market for a bit of summer direction in Killarney on Saturday. Mind, if the Munster GAA Council are looking for Jack O’Connor to trash-talk Kerry-Cork ticket sales into a frenzy, they came to the wrong hay shed.

The rivalry’s temperature may have cooled, but Kerry’s championship approach to Cork remains stubbornly hard-boiled. It’s like John Cleary was listening over the garden hedge in Tralee on Monday.
