Outgoing Camogie president Hilda Breslin believes an earlier date than 2027 could have been set for achieving integration, but expressed concern that if one association is not delivered within the agreed timeframe then the window of opportunity is gone and “it will just get pushed down the road”.

Breslin, whose term as Camogie president comes to an end this weekend, is of the view that 2026 could have been the date for integration of the GAA, Camogie Association, and LGFA.
