The Clare footballers are on the road to Newry this weekend. A promotion shootout at Páirc Esler. The league elevator will lift the winner up to the second tier.

The long stretch of tarmac from Clare to Newry is not the first road we’re going to concern ourselves with. The first road we’re going to pave is the one that brought Mark Fitzgerald from Tralee to Banner country.
