Cruciate rupture confirmed for Tipperary star Seamus Kennedy 

The Clonmel man faces a spell on the sidelines after injury against Limerick.

Tipperary's Seamus Kennedy 

Versatile Tipperary hurler Seamus Kennedy suffered an ACL rupture in last Saturday evening's Allianz HL defeat by Limerick, the county has confirmed.

Kennedy went down under no challenge in the second half of that game at Páirc Uí Chaoimh. When he managed to walk off the pitch to be substituted, hopes were raised that the injury wasn't as severe as it first looked.
