Ashbourne Cup champions UL dominate Third Level Camogie Team of the Year

Ashbourne Cup champions UL dominate this year's Third Level Camogie Team of the Year.Â
The Limerick university have eight players on the team while losing finalists TUD have three. There are also two players from both UCC and DCU.Â
UL defeated TUD 6-11 to 1-12 in last month's final at the Connacht AirDome.Â
Casey Hennessy of UL and Tipperary has been named as Player of the Year.

The Electric Ireland Higher Education GAA Rising Stars Hurling and Football Teams of the Year will be announced on March 19th and March 28th respectively. These awards will acknowledge 15 outstanding performances from this year’s Fitzgibbon Cup and Sigerson Cup Championships.
