For Cork manager John Cleary, the only positive in a 0-8 to 0-6 deficit at half-time was that it could and perhaps should have been much worse.

“We were absolutely livid at half-time,” he said after watching his side dig out a vital one-point win over Fermanagh at St Joseph’s Park in Ederney.
