All disciplinary cards to carry into extra-time following Congress vote

Extra-time will no longer be considered a 'new game'.

All cards picked up in normal time will carry into extra-time for this year’s inter-county championships following a successful motion (87% support) at Congress in Newry’s Canal Court Hotel this morning.

Put forward by Central Council after the playing rules body had looked for black cards to be wiped in extra-time, the proposal was delivered by Longford’s Ard Chomhairle delegate James “Mel” Clarke.
