The Gaelic Players Association’s (GPA) chief executive Tom Parsons has credited members with driving the integration process in spite of recent suggestions they damaged it.

In his annual report earlier this month, GAA director general Tom Ryan said the protest in support of female players’ campaign for a charter and minimum standards at last year’s Kerry-Derry All-Ireland SFC semi-final may have done “unwitting damage” to the project.
