Jerry Wallace went into the off-season hoping to become the next Cork senior camogie manager. He came out the far side of it as the new manager of the county that Cork comprehensively clipped in last year’s All-Ireland final.

Waterford welcome Cork to Carriganore this Saturday in Round 2 of the camogie league’s top flight. It should be a rematch of last August’s desperately one-sided All-Ireland decider. Off-season events mean it is that and so much more.
