Cork’s motion to ease the eligibility rules around U20 players lining out for senior teams will be heard before another U20 proposal at Congress next week.

Cork are calling for the rule to be changed so that a U20 footballer or hurler is not able to play championship at both levels with a 60-hour period. They also seek that the committee in charge of the U20 competition arrange fixtures to facilitate such scenarios “where necessary in its scheduling”.
