Former Cork goalkeeper Dónal Óg Cusack has hit out at the GAA over stadium strategy and spending, insisting Cork's Páirc Uí Chaoimh debt is having a direct effect on county players.

The Cork County Board recently agreed a rights deal to see its redeveloped home renamed SuperValu Páirc Uí Chaoimh with the 10-year deal helping put a dent in stadium debts understood to be around €30m. The agreement caused controversy with Tánaiste Micheál Martin among those to come out against the deal when it was first mooted.
