Cork County board give unanimous support for renaming of Páirc Ui Chaoimh
NAMING RIGHTS: A statement from Cork GAA this evening read: “Club delegates to the Cork County Board met this evening to discuss the issue of naming rights for Páirc Uí Chaoimh. They voted unanimously to support the renaming of the stadium as ‘SuperValu Páirc Ui Chaoimh’ effective immediately.”
Saturday’s rugby game between Munster and the Canterbury Crusaders will take place at SuperValu Páirc Uí Chaoimh after club delegates tonight agreed for the naming rights to be effective immediately.
The “Clash of Champions” game between the club sides will be the first time the venue is known by its new name.
