Team news: Mickey Harte names Derry team for clash with Kerry

DERRY have named eleven of the starters from last season’s epic All-Ireland semi-final defeat to Kerry for Saturday evening’s reunion with the Kingdom in Tralee.
Manager Mickey Harte has not named any players from the Glen’s Watty Grahams in the wake of their dramatic All-Ireland Cub SFC win last weekend against St Brigid’s.
Shane McGuigan will captain the side and Eoin McEvoy misses out with injury but there are starts for Steelstown’s Diarmuid Baker and Donncha Gilmore, while Declan Cassidy is picked on the forty and Cormac Murphy at corner forward.
Meanwhile Jack McCaffrey is a surprise starters for All-Ireland champions Dublin as Dessie Farrell names eight of his All-Ireland winning team to play against Monaghan in their Division 1 opener in Croke Park.
Ahead of Sunday's opener in Ballybofey against Cork, Jim McGuinness has named his first competitive side since resuming the hot seat. Coming off the back of the six-point defeat to Derry in the McKenna Cup final last week, McGuinness has handed League debuts to four newcomers - Gavin Mulreany, Ciarán Moore, Kevin McGettigan and Oisín Caulfield.
Brendan McCole steps in at full-back for Domhnall MacGiolla Bhride while league debutant Moore moves from wing-forward to wing-back, taking the place of Peadar Mogan who moves to the right side of the half-forward line.
Oisín Caulfield and Ciarán Thompson retain their positions in the middle of the park.
New Waterford boss Paul Shankey has named his side to take on Leitrim Sunday at Fraher Field at 2pm.
Robbie McGrath has been moved from full-back to half-back with Ross Browne filling the full-back position. Jack Keane keeps his place in the midfield but has a new partner in Michael Curry as captain Jason Curry moves to wing-forward.
Willie Beresford moves into the full-forward line with with Nick McSweeney and Stephen Curry filling out the corner forward positions.
