Confirmed: Clifford brothers to miss opening two Kerry games 

After Kerry’s opening two games, at home to Derry Saturday and away to Monaghan, there is a week’s break before Mayo come to Tralee in Round 3.

DAVID Clifford and brother Paudie, the new Kerry captain, won’t be seen in Allianz Football League action for the Kingdom until the third round tie against Mayo, Jack O’Connor has indicated.

The Fossa duo have returned to the inter-county set-up after two long seasons with club, division and county, but “haven’t done a whole pile of football yet,” O’Connor confirmed Monday in Tralee.
