Sean Kelly is “getting there” in terms of his recovery from two injury niggles, although maybe not as quickly as he would have liked.

The Galway full-back struggled with a high-profile ankle knock ahead of their All-Ireland preliminary quarter-final clash with Mayo last June, but he recently acknowledged that he probably shouldn't have played in that fixture.
