Former Kerry Minor manager James Costello joins Clare Senior football setup as selector

Costello did four seasons - 2019-22 - as Kerry minor manager. His 2020 minor class were beaten by a single point in the Covid-delayed All-Ireland final against Derry.

Former Kerry minor manager James Costello has been added to the Clare senior football set-up as a selector.

Manager Mark Fitzgerald, a native of Tralee, has secured the services of the St Pat’s Blennerville clubman for his debut campaign at the helm in the Banner. Declan Downes, who was part of Colm Collins’ outgoing backroom team, is remaining on board as selector.
