Munster awards for Gillane, Kennedy and Haven

Having overcome Cratloe and Rathgormack in their subsequent Munster campaign, Castlehaven then capped a magical year with a penalty shootout defeat of Dingle last Sunday in the Munster SFC club final.

Aaron Gillane has been named Munster GAA's senior hurler of the year. It was a memorable year for the Limerick and Patrickswell forward, claiming his fifth Munster and All-Ireland medals with Limerick, a fourth All-Star and the GAA/GPA hurler of the year prize. 

His club also reached the Limerick SHC final where they were beaten by Na Piarsaigh.
