Sean McClean promises to steady ship on new Louth stadium project

Tensions have been high in the county all year with a Croke Park oversight committee, led by former GAA President John Horan, now heavily involved in the stadium project.

Former Chairperson of Louth GAA Peter Fitzpatrick, stepped away after choosing not to seek a fifth year in the position.

New Louth chairman Sean McClean has promised to get the 'ship steady' again and to push on with the county stadium project after a tense few months.

McClean was installed as Wee County chairman at last night's dramatic Wee County convention.
