Kilmurry will face Listowel Emmets in the AIB Munster Club JFC final in a fortnight after the Cork side romped to a 26-point victory over Feenagh-Kilmeedy in Cloughduv on Saturday.

Leading by 0-9 to 0-1 at half-time, they took over in the second-half, bagging four goals with a brace each from Liam Wall and substitute Padraig Berhanu.

The Muskerry men, who recorded a 13-point win over Sean Treacy’s in the quarter-final, lost last season’s provincial decider to eventual All-Ireland champions Fossa.

On this occasion, they were a class apart.

Feenagh-Kilmeedy, with the majority of them dual players, will have to regroup quickly for next weekend’s Munster JHC final against St Catherine’s.

Granted, they were shorn of the services of injured centre-back (Gerard O’Gorman) and centre-forward (John O’Gorman) for today’s clash.

Both their scores came from Colm Ryan.

And special mention has to go to their goalkeeper Dan Gayer, who stopped at least another four goal opportunities.

Kilmurry appear to have processed the disappointment of narrowly losing the Cork Premier junior showdown to St Finbarr’s, even a black card to Gearóid O’Mahony in the third quarter did little to upset their momentum.

As well as Berhanu and Wall, Sean Warren ensured a constant scoring return.

And the Kilmurry defence completely blotted out any attempts at the other end, with Brian Hinchion getting up the field to kick points in either half.

Scorers for Kilmurry: L Wall and P Berhanu (2-2 each), S Warren (0-4), B Henchion and L Aisling (0-2 each), R Duggan, R Leahy, G Barrett and Joe O’Mullane, (0-1 each).
