The Districts hit back at angry Kerry county board meeting
HIT BACK: Mid Kerry's Keith Evans competes in the air with Ronan Buckley of East Kerry in the Kerry County SFC final
Delegates from the Kerry District Boards struck back at Tuesday's County Board meeting against those who questioned their right to compete in the Kerry Senior Football Championship.
The topic dominated the media narrative ahead of the county final between East Kerry and Mid Kerry, with the most high-profile intervention from former Kerry GAA chairperson, and former GAA President, Seán Kelly. Kelly suggested that the solution to revamping the SFC might be to take out the Divisional teams altogether.
