Cork want to significantly change the controversial U20 eligibility rule, the county executive drawing up a proposal that would enable players to line out in U20 and senior inter-county championship games in the space of a three-day period.

The motion from the Cork GAA executive, which will be voted on at next month’s county convention, proposes that a player be permitted to line out in consecutive U20 and senior inter-county championship games, once the two fixtures are a minimum 60 hours apart.
