A master at work but unfortunately for David Clifford and Fossa it still wasn't enough to overcome Milltown-Castlemaine in the Kerry Intermediate Football Final on Sunday.
The recently crowned Footballer of the Year put on an exhibition of shooting to prove why he was deserving of the honour for 2023.
At the end of the game the number of points he scored himself stood at an incredible tally of 12 with five of those coming from frees and one being a mark, which he created with an remarkable catch.
His brother Paudie chipped in with two scores from play but ultimately it was a disappointing afternoon for the Cliffords and Fossa as Milltown-Castlemaine secured a 2-13 to 0-18 victory.
The majority of the plaudits should therefore go to the winners, but a few should also go to David for his superb accuracy which you can enjoy below courtesy of Clubbler, who provided a stream of the final.
While he was on the losing side today, the 2023 Footballer of the Year, David Clifford, put in some performance for @FossaGaa in the @Kerry_Official IFC Final 🙌
