The seven-team division format would see each team have three games at home with the bottom two counties being replaced by the top two in the division below.

Over 60% of counties are in favour of a new seven-team per division Allianz Hurling League.

Feedback on proposals to change the format of the competition found that the two-up, two-down structure is the overwhelming favourite. Central Council will vote on the 2025 hurling league template next month.
