Kerry's Ni Mhuirceartaigh, and Dublin pair Caffrey and Dunne nominated for player of the year

LGFA nominations released with Limerick's Roisin Ambrose also shortlisted for junior player of the year

DUBLIN All-Ireland winners Leah Caffrey and Jennifer Dunne will vie with Kerry's Louise ni Mhuirceartaigh for the TG4 Players’ Player of the Year awards.

Ní Mhuircheartaigh, a three-time and current  All-Star, finished as the leading scorer in the 2023 All-Ireland series with a haul of 3-31, having also topped the 2022 scoring charts at Senior level. The west Kerry woman scored 1-7 in the Final against Dublin but it wasn’t enough to deny the Sky Blues a first Senior title since 2020.
