Mayo SFC: Castlebar Mitchels, Knockmore secure last four berths

Extra-time goals from Bob Tuohy and Gavin Durcan helped to propel the Mitchels into the final four.

TWO of the four semi-finalists in the Mayo GAA SFC were decided on Saturday evening as Castlebar Mitchels and Knockmore booked their place in the last four.

Extra-time was required in the first of the quarter-finals before Castlebar Mitchels just got the better of their West Mayo rivals Ballintubber by 2-10 to 0-13 at a wet and windy Breaffy.
