Maher leaves role as Tipp selector after just one year

Former star stepping away from Liam Cahill's management team 'due to unforeseen changes in his work circumstances'

Padraic Maher has left Liam Cahill's Tipperary hurling set-up after the county confirmed his time as selector is over after just one season. 

"Due to unforeseen changes in his work circumstances, 2023 Senior hurling selector Padraic Maher will not be in a position to continue in the role for 2024," Tipperary GAA announced in a brief management update on Wednesday evening.
