Such was Lorcán McLoughlin’s masterful sweeping during Kanturk’s relegation playoff win over Glen Rovers, there was need to find out his age for inclusion in the following Monday morning’s match copy.

To our surprise, we were informed that McLoughlin was only 33. For a man who has given such service to club and county, we expected his number to be higher.
