Limerick SHC: Mugret secure promotion to group one

Despite missing out on promotion, Ballybrown will still compete in next weekend’s quarter finals as Adare just lose out on points differential with the teams finishing level in the group.

A second half surge from Mungret St Pauls secured their promotion to group one of the Limerick Senior Hurling Championship for 2024 as they saw off neighbours Ballybrown on Sunday afternoon.

In difficult conditions in Cluaghaun, Mungret were able to overturn a six point deficit into a 2-17 to 0-20 winning result to seal their place in the top tier for next year.
