Leading Joe McDonagh Cup counties are split about doing away with the All-Ireland preliminary quarter-finals.
Ahead of Saturday week’s vote at Special Congress in Croke Park, Carlow and Westmeath, who were relegated from the Leinster SHC this year, have made it clear that they want the games retained.
