On the face of it, the 2024 inter-county season is looking like a Ger Power version: we can put it down for what it said this year. For all intents and purposes, at the very least in football, it will be the same.

Pre-season competitions retained, no changes to the start of the Allianz Leagues at the end of January or their conclusion in the form of finals at the end of March, the football deciders having avoided the guillotine for the second year in a row.
