Restructuring of Páirc Uí Chaoimh loan given green light by Central Council
RESTRUCTURE: With no concerts at the Ballintemple venue this year and the Munster senior hurling final and All-Ireland SHC quarter-finals being played in Limerick, the income earned by the stadium was significantly less compared to 2022.
A restructuring of the Páirc Uí Chaoimh loan between Cork GAA and Bank of Ireland has been given the green light by the GAA’s Central Council.
The delegates at today’s meeting in Croke Park agreed on the new arrangement, which will help to alleviate the debt burden associated with the reconstruction of the stadium, which was approximately €30 million as of last September. The amount owed to Bank of Ireland at that stage exceeded €21m.
