Ending Joe McDonagh counties involvement in  SHC knockout a motion at Special Congress

Ending the involvement of Joe McDonagh counties in the knockout stages of the All-Ireland SHC and enshrining in rule that U17s cannot play adult at club level are two of the standout motions that will be debated at a Special Congress later this month.

The GAA has circulated the 11 Special Congress motions that will be heard at Croke Park on Saturday, September 30, with changes also proposed to the All-Ireland MHC and a commitment to conclude the All-Ireland SFC by the last Sunday in July.
