Hurling team news: Tadhg de Búrca starts for Waterford

Tadhg De Búrca of Waterford 

Tadhg de Búrca will make his first competitive start for the Waterford hurlers in 14 months when he lines out at centre-back against Laois on Sunday afternoon.

The 27-year-old has not played for the county since rupturing his ACL during the first-half of the 2020 All-Ireland SHC final against Limerick.

De Búrca’s inclusion in the team to face Laois is one of two changes to the side that drew with Dublin last weekend.

Also coming into the starting line-up is full-forward Ciaran Kirwan. Dropping out of the team are Kieran and Shane Bennett.
