'We had no choice' - Waterford hand walkover to Antrim over Covid concerns

Mark Sweeney of Antrim footballers, who will now be handed two points after Waterford concede their Allianz Football League Division 4 Round 6 match 

The Waterford senior footballers have become the second team in 48 hours to concede their final round Allianz League game.

Their Division 4 fixture against Antrim, which was due to take place in Portglenone on Saturday, has been forfeited meaning Antrim will be awarded the two points, will move to the top of the table and could be promoted as a result.
