'May 12 is our target date' - Cork chairperson says Páirc Uí Chaoimh should be ready for Championship

Cork GAA chairperson Tracey Kennedy has said that she expects the Páirc Uí Chaoimh pitch to be recovered in time for the Munster SHC first round clash with Tipperary - but has said the whole playing surface may have to be relaid.

Tonight's Allianz Hurling League clash with Clare was moved to Pairc Ui Rinn after the pitch was deemed unplayable after the league double-header two weeks ago.
