Micheál Donoghue: Three weeks is probably an ideal scenario
Galway manager Micheál Donoghue is not sure if bringing forward the All- Ireland final to August was the correct decision, advocating for a three-week break between the penultimate and concluding afternoons of the championship.
The Tribesmen enjoyed a four-week layoff between last year’s All-Ireland semi-final and final, whereas, on this occasion, Sunday’s decider will be their third game in the space of three weeks.
