Davy Fitzgerald announced as new Wexford manager

Davy Fitzgerald has been appointed as the Wexford hurling manager, a fortnight after stepping down from the Clare job, writes Stephen Barry.

Fitzgerald left his native county after “divided opinions” among the players about whether the 2013 All-Ireland winning manager was the best person for the role.
