Dublin minor uses overhead kick to bury hurling goal

Yesterday Wexford and Dublin played a pulsating Leinster Minor Hurling quarter-final that went all the way to extra time.

Wexford ran out impressive winners in the end on a scoreline of 0-21 to 1-14, but the game was lit up by a moment of magic from Dublin substitute Ronan Hayes.

With 15 minutes to go in the contest Hayes wonderfully fielded a high delivery inside the Wexford square.

It looked for all the world that the Wexford backs had managed to bottle up the youngster, however Hayes had other ideas.

Hayes swivelled his hips and somehow managed to kick the ball above his head to bury it past to Wexford keeper.

Ronan Hayes, remember the name!
