Cavan have earned promotion and a league final place with a 1-16 to 1-12 win over Galway at Kingspan/Breffni Park.

After a tentative opening quarter, Cavan turned on the burners in the second quarter to forge a 1-8 to 1-5 cushioned lead at the interval.
