Mayo footballer Darragh Doherty killed in overnight road accident

The man who died in a Mayo road accident last night has been named as footballer Darragh Doherty.

The 19-year-old from Kilmaine, Co Mayo, died after the car he was driving struck a wall on the N84 at Carrowmore, near Ballinrobe at around 10.30pm last night.
